Mick Aston
This is based on a Time Team episode featuring Mick investigating something freshly out of the ground. My own (amateur) archaeology studies has really shown me the cyclical nature of human behaviour, we have been making and discarding things since the beginning of time.
In my experience, being a woman in a public place is to be on display. How you look is to invite judgment, unspoken or otherwise. In this piece we are looking at, and dare I say it, judging the Jester. But at the same time, she is calmly gazing at us back, making her own conclusions.
